Still no viable chance for measurable snow in the Denver metro area over the next week (though high country will have up to a foot of fresh powder over the next 48 hours). What we will, however, have to contend with is very windy conditions Wednesday night & Thursday. Basically, we have a strong pressure gradient setting up with a large zone of high pressure to our west (which will kick of Santa Ana winds in California on Friday) running into a strong area of low pressure to our north and east.
The result will be very windy conditions over the next 24 hours. Winds may gust as high as 50-70mph at times -- towards the lower end of the range the further east you go in Denver metro, higher winds as you head further west and to higher altitudes.
